A/Professor Sina Babazadeh
A/Professor Sina Babazadeh is an Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in wrist, knee, and hip conditions.
He completed his orthopaedic training in Victoria in 2018, followed by an international fellowship in Barcelona, Spain, under world-renowned wrist surgeon Professor Marc Garcia-Elias, where he contributed to published research and a book chapter on advanced wrist surgery techniques.
Holding a PhD in knee replacement surgery and an extensive research portfolio, Sina combines surgical expertise with a strong commitment to evidence-based, patient-centred care. He has undertaken further training across Europe — including Belgium, Switzerland, and Italy — refining his skills in hip and knee arthroplasty using modern, minimally invasive, navigated, and robotic techniques.
Sina operates privately at Epworth Eastern, Adeney Private Hospital, and publicly through Eastern Health and St Vincent’s Hospital.
His leadership in research and clinical practice continues to advance the fields of joint reconstruction and orthopaedic innovation.
