Mr Wei-Han Tay
Mr Wei-Han Tay is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with specialist expertise in foot, ankle, and trauma surgery.
He earned his medical degree at the University of New South Wales in 2005 and began Basic Surgical Training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital in 2007. During this time, he was an anatomy demonstrator at the University of Melbourne and completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Surgical Anatomy. In 2008, he undertook full-time clinical research as part of his Master of Surgery at the University of Melbourne.
Wei-Han completed Advanced Surgical Training in Orthopaedic Surgery in New South Wales and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) and the Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA) in 2016. He then undertook AOA-accredited fellowships, including a foot and ankle fellowship at Royal North Shore Hospital and a shoulder fellowship at Western Health.
He holds public appointments at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Box Hill Hospital, serving as AOA Director of Training, and operates privately at Epworth Eastern, Epworth Freemasons, and The Avenue Hospital.
